Student-Centered Activities

To support students on their path to success, we provide Academic Support for gateway STEM courses through P2L (Peer Led Learning, structured group study sessions) and PAC (Peer Academic Coaching, 1:1 academic coaching). Moreover, we are broadening students’ exposure and access to research opportunities through workshops on undergraduate research and programs, such as Behind the Bench

The CORE Scholars Program provides a small cohort experience for students who have a passion for science, are dedicated to making a positive difference in the world, and are committed to fostering inclusive excellence in STEM education.

Katie Densberger, Director of Student Initiatives, coordinates student-centered activities and leads the Student Initiatives Implementation Team (SIIT).
