STEM Symposium
Every Fall, the STEM community comes together for the STEM Symposium – a remarkable opportunity to connect with colleagues, share experiences, and learn new ways to contribute to our collective work of ensuring that all students have opportunities to excel in STEM.

Workshop | Engaging all learners
Through interactive, hands-on activities and case studies, we will examine why not all students might be engaged when one teaching mode is used. Drawing upon our own teaching experiences and educational research, we will model approaches that can be readily implemented with any STEM discipline or class size to help all students achieve their potentials.
Panel discussion | Student voices in STEM
HHMI Leadership workshop | Leading change
In this session for faculty and staff leading different components of the HHMI initiatives in their departments and units, we will model with examples and case studies how to create an environment where it feels safe for all voices to be heard.
